Staying healthy has always proven challenging as a flight attendant with a chaotic flight schedule and ad-hoc time-zones. To add to that, being an ardent foodie who was ever-ready to try out the worlds' local cuisines left me with an almost insatiable taste for variety.
During my flying years, I concocted simple ways to eat healthy no matter where in the world or what time of the day it was. I studied and stayed mindful of my body type and implemented my parents' teachings to understand food and protect myself from illness.
"Eat naturally colourful, mostly veggies, they keep ailments away", said my father.; a constant proponent of homemade-healthy food.
